Arising mainly from bar-ends, offcuts and forgings, commonly from metal stockists and other industrial sources, Roba Metals handles over 300t per month of aluminium plate scrap. Segregated by alloy using spectrometry, x-ray and LIBS analysis, this is high-quality material for alloy production. Larger plates may be sheared, sawn or plasma cut to enable better transportation and recovery.
