Examples of personal data are first/last name, gender, date of birth, address details, phone numbers, email address, IP address, bank account details and numbers. Personal data can contain special categories of data such as membership of a trade union, health information, your passport or citizen service number.

The purpose for processing your personal data by ROBA is, for example, to manage the purchase or sales transactions with you or your company, or for payment of your salary, to be able to contact you by telephone or e-mail if necessary to carry out our services, to inform you about changes in our services and products, to deliver goods and services to you, based on a legal basis.

Automated decision-making

ROBA does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. This concerns decisions that are taken by computer programs or systems without the intervention of a natural person (for example, an employee of Roba Metals B.V).

The term for storing personal data

In principle, ROBA does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data is collected. Our retention periods are stored in the data register and can be viewed on written request.

With companies that process your data in our assignment, we conclude a data processing agreement to ensure at least the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. ROBA remains responsible for these processing operations.
